
Angie O’Gieblyn PhD, NCC, LPC (MI)
Angie O'Gieblyn, PhD, NCC, LPC (MI) is a counselor educator, researcher, and author currently living in Boca Raton, FL. She is in her sixth year as a counselor educator. She is currently an affiliate faculty for Northwestern University and an adjunct faculty at Northwest University. She holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Counseling with a Teaching Specialization from Trevecca Nazarene University. Her clinical experience includes previous work in a group private practice and a college counseling center. As an educator she seeks to teach in a way that empowers and equips students to become all of who they are meant to be. She specializes and conducts research in the areas of counselor identity development, attachment, spirituality, perfectionism, empathy, self-efficacy, and mentorship. Additionally, she authored a textbook entitled Counseling for the Real World: Case Studies Across the Curriculum with Cognella publishing
